Successful Inclusion: A Supportive Culture and Instructional Design to Meet the Needs of All Learners

Equity and access are essential to student success. All students are general education students first and have the right to receive both social and educational opportunities available to all students. This session will begin by exploring effective ways to establish an inclusive culture across
the district and within buildings and classrooms followed by the principles and practical aspects of designing and delivering instruction to improve student outcomes. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) are featured within this session promoting high quality programs and services that support students of all abilities.

Requirements: Bring your own laptop to participate in this session.

A break will be provided, but lunch is on your own.

Full-day In-Person Session: 9am - 3pm / local time

Virtual Session: 10am - 11:30am / ET
